Kickoff of a new collaboration with KNUST (Ghana)

Supported by the TUM Global Incentive Fund, the Professorship of Chronobiology & Health at TUM recently started a new project with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana, one of TUM’s flagship partner universities. With the group of Dr. Kwadwo Owusu Akuffo, Senior Lecturer in the Optometry and Visual Science Department, we will be embarking on an exchange to understand how light exposure affects sleep, circadian and ocular health. Our kick-off meeting, held via Zoom, took place on 2 July 2024.
