Supported by the TUM Global Incentive Fund , the Professorship of Chronobiology & Health at TUM recently started a new project with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana, one of TUM’s flagship partner universities. With the group of Dr. Kwadwo Owusu Akuffo , Senior Lecturer in the Optometry and Visual Science Department, we will be embarking on an exchange to understand how light exposure affects sleep, circadian and ocular health. Our kick-off meeting, held via Zoom, took place on 2 July 2024.
