2024 CaCTüS interns push science forward

From July to September, the Max Planck Research Group Translational Sensory & Circadian Neuroscience once again welcomed interns within the Computation & Cognition Tübingen Summer Internship (CaCTüS) programme. This year, we had the pleasure of hosting Veronica Canziana, and Bethlehem Tassew in our group.

Here’s what they said about their experience:

“It has been lovely getting to work with such a dedicated international team and experience how it is to work in research in countries outside my own.” (Veronica)

“My time in the lab has given me a deeper appreciation for the complexity of natural scenes and how our visual system processes them. Working alongside talented researchers, I learned how interdisciplinary approaches like combining neuroscience and computational modeling can reveal new insights about perception. This experience challenged me to think more critically and creatively, which is something I’ll carry forward in my academic and professional journey.” (Bethlehem)
