Dr. Sofiia Lahutina awarded Leopoldina Ukraine Distinguished Fellowship

The German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina has selected our team member Dr. med. Sofiia Lahutina as a recipient of the highly sought-after Leopoldina Ukraine Distinguish Fellowship, granting her the opportunity to resume and continue her research activities at the Technical University of Munich.

With her expertise and passion for digital psychiatry, Sofiia’s work is expected to significantly impact mental health support for those enduring the consequences of the war in Ukraine. Dr. Lahutina’s research project, titled “DigitalMentalHealth4Ukraine: Digital infrastructure for psychological aid,” has garnered recognition for its potential to transform mental health support in Ukraine through digital applications. Through the fellowship, Dr. Lahutina will be pursuing a twelve-month continuous research stay at the esteemed Technical University of Munich. The research project aims to create digital infrastructure that facilitates psychological aid for those impacted by traumatic experiences during the war.
