Summer interns join TUM as part of the Practical Research Experience Program (TUM PREP)
The Professorship for Chronobiology & Health at TUM is delighted to welcome two summer interns as part of the Practical Research Experience Program (TUM PREP).
Through TUM PREP, TUM extends an invitation each summer to outstanding students from chosen North American universities. These students are offered the opportunity to engage in an approximately 9-week long research residency at TUM. By participating in this program, students can acquire invaluable insights into the research endeavors of Germany's top-ranked technical university while augmenting their technical and methodological expertise. In 2023, we are delighted to host Hannah Ulman (Princeton University) and Ojus Sharma (University of British Columbia).
Hannah Ulman is an undergraduate student at Princeton University entering her final year in the fall. She studies Operations Research with a certificate in Global Health Policy, and she is hoping to pursue a career in data science in the health field after graduation. In her free time, she loves to travel, and she has been exploring Bavaria’s nature and nearby cities during her time here.
Ojus Sharma is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia (Okanagan), majoring in Computer Science with a Data Science minor. His academic passion lies in back-end software development. Outside of academics, Ojus finds joy in exploring diverse pursuits, such as poetry, cinema, football, video editing, and F1. With an adventurous spirit, he eagerly embraces new experiences and is always keen to step out of his comfort zone to explore new places.
Ojus and Sharma will be working with Anna Biller on novel digital-health solutions to promote sleep and circadian health. Welcome!
